About Event

Lutheran Study Days is a forum to promote the central and life-giving truths of classical Lutheran faith and confession. There is an intended focus on theological clarity in the face of current public confusion, reinstatement of knowledge, socializing, informal contacts and last but not least; lectures and preaching for building up confidence and pastoral care. Adam Francisco

Adam Francisco

Adam is Director of Academics and Scholar in Residence at 1517. He earned his DPhil from the University of Oxford in 2006 and served as Professor of History, Dean, and Assistant Provost in the Concordia University System for nearly two decades.

 

Scott Keith

Scott Keith

Scott Keith is the Executive Director of 1517. He is a co-host of The Thinking Fellows Podcast and a contributor to 1517 and Christ Hold Fast. He is also the author of "Being Dad: Father as a Picture of God’s Grace." He earned his doctorate from Foundation House Oxford, under the sponsorship of the Graduate Theological Foundation, studying under Dr. James A. Nestingen.

Caleb Keith

Caleb Keith

Caleb Keith is a Summa Cum Laude, and Honors Scholar graduate of Concordia University Irvine, and holds an MA in systematic and philosophical theology from the University of Nottingham. In 2018, he published a translation of Luther's Heidelberg Disputation. Caleb is husband to Erika Keith and father to Esther, Emerson, Edmund, and Euna. He produces the Thinking Fellows and Outlaw God podcasts and oversees the 1517 Podcast network.

Rod Rosenbladt

Rod Rosenbladt

Dr. Rod Rosenbladt (Ph.D., University of Strasbourg), now retired, was a professor of theology at Concordia University in Irvine, California for over 30 years, and has contributed to numerous books and recorded presentations. He is also an ordained minister in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS).
