1. מזרח - For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. PSALM 103:11–12
  2. יסר - Blessed is the man whom you discipline, O Lord, and whom you teach out of your law, to give him rest from days of trouble, until a pit is dug for the wicked. PSALM 94:12–13
  3. אב - He shall cry to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.’ And I will make him the firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth. PSALM 89:26–27
  4. תפלה - O Lord, God of my salvation, I cry out day and night before you. Let my prayer come before you; incline your ear to my cry! PSALM 88:1–2
  5. נשׁק - Steadfast love and faithfulness meet; righteousness and peace kiss each other. PSALM 85:10
  6. עולם - I consider the days of old, the years long ago. I said, “Let me remember my song in the night; let me meditate in my heart.” PSALM 77:5–6
  7. גוים - May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, Selah that your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations. Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! PSALM 67:1–3
  8. כלב - Each evening they come back, howling like dogs and prowling about the city. There they are, bellowing with their mouths with swords in their lips— for “Who,” they think, “will hear us?” PSALM 59:6–7
  9. נאד - You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book? PSALM 56:8
  10. אזוב - Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. PSALM 51:7
  11. כרת - He calls to the heavens above and to the earth, that he may judge his people: “Gather to me my faithful ones, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice!” PSALM 50:4–5
