God the Father (353)
  1. I grew up playing baseball – mostly “street” baseball, with a bunch of friends. It was one of my passions in life.
  2. Family Style Theology encourages theological conversations with children of all ages. In this series, Daughter, teenage girls from ages 13-22 gather to discuss our greater story found in the Word of God. Together we talk about knowing the truth about ourselves and discovering God’s truth in the Bible according to His story in Genesis 1, Psalm 139, and John 1.
  3. We fail over and over again to tame the sin in our hearts, to guard the doors of our lips and to act like the children of God.
  4. A friend recently told me they had never seen the movie A Christmas Story. “What?!” I exclaimed. “Well, you need to fix that this year.”
  5. God’s name is no different. It, too, carries power. The power of a promise only God can make.

  12. Judgement is not a fun topic to talk about, usually. Fortunately we have the Rev Bill Cwirla who was not only a lot of fun, but actually turned judgement into a hopeful doctrine!
