God the Father (353)
  1. Jesus not only desires mercy, but gives mercy. Our sacrifices will never satisfy the demands of the Law, but Christ's sacrifice for us gives all the holiness the law requires.
  2. God will give you more than you can handle. But he doesn’t leave you alone. Not at all.
  3. Jesus did not need a single act of mercy to get him started on the road to mercy, his essence was by nature merciful.
  4. Through the often abominable and lamentable and occasional commendable season, there is one who remains unmoved by it all.
  5. We can not give our Heavenly Father anything that will make him love us more or less. He gives and we receive.
  6. “Poverty of spirit” is not an ethical value we strive for. It is an act of God’s mercy spoken to the deepest recesses of our soul when it’s overwhelmed by God’s grace.
  7. Caleb and Scott take listener questions about creation and apologetics.
  8. That a celestial phenomenon should be appropriated worldwide for iconic value or to illustrate a mythological legend makes perfect sense. One cannot copyright the rainbow.
  9. You and I have a God who pardons all our wrongdoing by taking all of them onto himself. He doesn’t zap us into oblivion at the first sign of rebellion.
  10. Sin, death, and Satan may have had more than a puncher's chance to beat us, but when God stepped into the ring, they should have admitted defeat and thrown in the towel.
  11. By his initiative alone, he remakes our hearts to love him and others unselfishly.
