Psalms (157)
  1. This Psalm deals with the storms of life, and God's care for His children. Izzi Ray sings "Lord of the Storm".
  2.    In the first half of Psalm 107 we hear about the troubled, the wanderers, the shipwrecked, ruined ones who cried out to God in their distress. Izzi Ray sings "All the Way Home".
  3. Chad calls this Psalm a walk of shame through Israel's history. But the Psalm includes the word "nevertheless...". Very encouraging words to those who know they fail. Andrea Hammond sings "Here I Confess". 
  4. In this first of 2 episodes on Psalm 106, Chad addresses the Psalms bleak descriptions of Israel's failures. Alex Mackey sings "My Hidden Sin"
  5. He is the one who saves us at just the right time.
  6. The Church follows the admonition to “love your neighbor” because it is their identity in Christ Jesus.
  7. God does not just allow suffering; He sends it in order that He might strengthen and deliver us. And all of our suffering finds its meaning in the suffering of Christ Jesus.

  11. In part 1 of Psalm 89, we hear of David wanting to build a house for the Lord to dwell, but God has bigger plans, and makes a promise to David that from his lineage will come the Messiah of the world.
