Redemption (30)
  1. Psalm 139 shows us God's loving care, for looking after us wherever we are.
  2. Godly, upright in heart, righteous. Sinful, sorrowful, wasting away.
  3. We might think of the poetry of the Psalms as a dance between creation and redemption.
  4. Part of the journey involves seasons of affliction, and during those times it is easy to feel separated from God, even rejected by our God
  5. The first section of Psalm 44 teaches about the life of the redeemed.
  6. Don’t say you’re beyond hope, for there is not one beyond God. Don’t say you’ve done too much evil, for there is no wrong bigger than God’s heart of forgiveness.
  7. Amazing grace is a sweet sound not just because it saved a wretch like me, but because it saved a whole wretched world like me.
  8. Whether we realize it or not, all these online, self-editing actions are nothing more than our admission that we believe that we are so deeply flawed that no one will love us just as we are.
