  1. Easter must be seen in light of the cross. It must never overshadow Good Friday. They are a packaged deal!
  2. It is good to remember that this true story, is also beautiful.
  3. Who we are buried with matters. But there is no need to go out and find a dead prophet so you can join him six feet under.
  4. What was the significance of the women at the tomb? Did they just happen to be in the right place at the right time, or did Jesus intentionally seek them out first?
  5. You might not know it, but every Christian hopes for the day when their faith will die. Really. I promise. Faith’s death is our celebration.
  6. Viewing the Word as a unified theological narrative prevents us from treating the Scriptures like a cage match between competing theological systems, with prophets duking it out with apostles, and psalmists with evangelists, all supposedly fighting for their voice to be heard.
  7. "You have little faith" really just means "You think you have a small Jesus." What Jesus promises He is able to do.
