Victory (34)
  1. You have been invited to bring God’s grace to people who are dying for want of it.
  2. The victory of Christ is hidden in the crosses we bear as Christians following Him to our own personal Golgothas.
  3. In the midst of suffering, hate, and sin, Jesus sets a table for soldiers. He feeds the fearful with forgiveness and eternal life.
  4. Forty days after His resurrection from the dead, Jesus ascended.
  5. The fact is no one dies with dignity.
  6. Like her Lord, the Church has dirt under her nails, the smell of coffin wood on her clothes, and a hunger in her belly.
  7. Sometimes, I wish I was much older. Old enough to realize that my best, most influential, and productive days are behind me so that I could speak completely and openly about my life, my triumphs, and most of all, my struggles.
  8. It had just been a few weeks in my friend’s life since he had been converted to the Christian faith. He was very much still learning the ropes of what it meant to be a Christian.
  9. “Now, a certain man was sick...” Rick was kind. He knew my name before I knew his. The few times we talked, I felt like I should get to know this guy. I had actually planned to strike up a conversation the next time I saw him at church.
  10. I sin more in thirty minutes than those of the “victorious Christian life” supposedly sin in thirty years.
