Wisdom (33)
  1. We’ve all been there, waiting in line to check out, and the person ahead of us questions the price of something that was just rung up.
  2. A part of our series on Luther's, Heidelberg Disputation.
  3. Our meditation listens to the King of Kings when He says; it is finished.
  4. Nicodemus, like us, does not really have phantoms and dragons in his head. He has just one demon, one virus, one malady: he lives in fear.
  5. God is for us in His foolish, scarred Word and Wisdom. Nothing is against us, nothing can separate us from the love of Christ.
  6. Only a god could be wise. We are seekers, lovers of divine wisdom, but it is forever beyond our grasp due to human limitation.
  7. Wisdom speaks in proverbs, parables and riddles. And the simple continue to wander right past her words of life.
  8. Generally, we call that path the lectionary. I’m a big fan of the lectionaries in general. They do several things.
