Four Loves - St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mukwonago, WI

In this Bird's Eye View episode we bring you a talk that Mike gave in February 202 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mukwonago, WI. The talk was given the day before Valentine's Day, but Mike assured the audience that that was mere coincidence (evidently he and Rev. Bortulin don't always remember the date of Valentines day...shocking, really).

Although the title might suggest that Mike discussed C.S. Lewis's work The Four Loves, in reality he just stole the idea and did his own thing. If you are interested in a discussion of C.S. Lewis's work, though, we did cover that way back on Episode 45, so go check that one out. In this talk, Mike uses the structure that Lewis presents to discuss the way in which God's love for us (agape) animates all other love through us, even if imperfectly.
A big thanks to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church for inviting Mike to speak. If you find yourself in or near Mukwonago, WI, make sure to stop by and check them out!
