1. תורה - “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. ISAIAH 2:3
  2. סרר - How the faithful city has become a whore, she who was full of justice! Righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers. Your silver has become dross, your best wine mixed with water. Your princes are rebels and companions of thieves. ISAIAH 1:21–23
  3. דודאים - Come, my beloved, let us go out into the fields and lodge in the villages; let us go out early to the vineyards... There I will give you my love. The mandrakes give forth fragrance, and beside our doors are all choice fruits, new as well as old, which I have laid up for you, O my beloved. SONG OF SONGS 7:11–13
  4. דפק - I slept, but my heart was awake. A sound! My beloved is knocking. “Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my perfect one, for my head is wet with dew, my locks with the drops of the night.” I had put off my garment; how could I put it on? I had bathed my feet; how could I soil them? SONG OF SONGS 5:2–3
  5. שׁחר - "I am very dark, but lovely, O daughters of Jerusalem, like the tents of Kedar, like the curtains of Solomon. Do not gaze at me because I am dark, because the sun has looked upon me." SONG OF SONGS 1:5–6
  6. כל - The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil. ECCLESIASTES 12:13–14
  7. בור - [Remeber your Creator] before the silver cord is snapped, or the golden bowl is broken, or the pitcher is shattered at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern, and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. ECCLESIASTES 12:6–7
  8. כסיל - Then I saw that there is more gain in wisdom than in folly, as there is more gain in light than in darkness. The wise person has his eyes in his head, but the fool walks in darkness. And yet I perceived that the same event happens to all of them. ECCLESIASTES 2:13–14
  9. הבל - The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem. Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities! All is vanity. ECCLESIASTES 1:1–2
  10. חנך - Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. PROVERBS 22:6
  11. נפשׁ - Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life; he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. PROVERBS 13:3
