1. אמן - And [Abram] believed the LORD, and he counted it to him as righteousness. (GENESIS 15:6)
  2. דבר - And behold, the word of the Lord came to [Abram]: “This man shall not be your heir; your very own son[a] shall be your heir.” 5 And he brought him outside and said, “Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” (GENESIS 15:4–5)
  3. מלכי־צדק - And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. (He was priest of God Most High.) And he blessed him and said, “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand!” And Abram gave him a tenth of everything. (GENESIS 14:18–20)
  4. רגל - [The LORD told Abram,] "Arise, walk through the length and the breadth of the land, for I will give it to you.” (GENESIS 13:17)
  5. A dead heart, a quick wedding, and a vulnerable king.
  6. נגע - But the LORD afflicted Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram’s wife. (GENESIS 12:17)
  7. רעב - Now there was a famine in the land. So Abram went down to Egypt to sojourn there, for the famine was severe in the land. (GENESIS 12:10)
  8. הלך - Now the LORD said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you." (GENESIS 12:1)
  9. לבנה - And they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly... Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens." (GENESIS 11:3–4)
  10. יין - Noah began to be a man of the soil, and he planted a vineyard. He drank of the wine and became drunk and lay uncovered in his tent. (GENESIS 9:20–21)
  11. קשׁת - I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh. (GENESIS 9:13–15)
  12. מזבח - Then Noah built an altar to the LORD and took some of every clean animal and some of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar. (GENESIS 8:20)
