Church Seasons (1081)
  1. You need an apocalyptic ‘decoder ring’ to figure out what is going on in Revelation.
  2. The gospel of Jesus’ coming out of death and the tomb alive so that we might be restored to our identity as God’s children establishes the most enduring reality there is.
  3. God has found a way to be God even for the likes of us. He has found a way to save sinners.
  4. The Messiah is exiled from God on the cross as Israel was. Forsaken as Israel was forsaken. Cast away from Yahweh as Israel was. Why?
  5. On this Good Friday, we take a moment to pause and consider Christ's crucifixion and death . . . done for you.
  6. Today, Maundy Thursday, we receive the feast of Christ’s true body and blood for us, for the forgiveness of our sins. All of them.
  7. How fitting that we have our feet washed by the very God from whom we once ran in terror and shame.
  8. Christ has come to make every last aspect of your life the object of his eternal, never-ending, always transitive grace.
  9. Happy Easter from the Thinking Fellows. This week, Scott, Adam, and Caleb talk about the centrality and reliability of the Ressurection of Jesus Christ.
  10. Easter must be seen in light of the cross. It must never overshadow Good Friday. They are a packaged deal!
  11. Obviously, the LORD has no intention of slapping a bandage on creation. He will completely restore—it will be made new.
  12. Jesus died for the people who put Him to death. Jesus rose for the people whose minds rejected the idea of a resurrection.
