Church Seasons (1081)
  1. Jesus takes the sins of man upon Himself and carries them to the cross to make our hearts holy and acceptable in the eyes of God.
  2. Repentance means being cut down by the law’s declaration of judgment. It’s not an activity we do to prepare for grace, but a point of despair worked by God himself.
  3. There is joy in Lent, but it is the kind of joy that comes in being made whole.
  4. Is it possible to take a cyber approach to the season of Lent? I do not think so.
  5. Jesus enters this world’s darkness and brings us the life-giving power of God’s light.
  6. The preacher of this text should follow the logic of the text, the divinely inspired genius of Saint Paul, and get out of the way.

  8. Because of my Advocate, there is no judgment or condemnation by God in my suffering.
  9. We aren't cancelled yet. Maybe this will be the show! Come and witness history...
  10. At times, our Church struggles with clutter which distracts us from what is most important: Listening to our Lord and gathering at His table where we are fed.
