God the Father (43)
  1. Don't lose hope. Don't avoid church on Sunday morning.
  2. Our hope is God's mercy. It's like a well that never dries up. His mercies were there before he created us. They are present for us today.
  3. God's power and works are awesome and cannot be stifled. His grace and mercy will be heard above the growls and howls of those who deny Christ Jesus is God and Savior
  4. Sin, death, and Satan may have had more than a puncher's chance to beat us, but when God stepped into the ring, they should have admitted defeat and thrown in the towel.
  5. Jesus Christ is our peace because he doesn't criticize us. He declares us freed from our perceptions to accept the truth about ourselves.
  6. As a parent listens for the cry of a hurting child, our heavenly Father waits for our cry of weal and woe.
  7. For God to shine his face upon us is the same as saying, “Christ Jesus is with us.”
  8. No matter how great our thirst is, God's abundance not only meets it but quenches it. When we are poor and in need, the Lord is always there to give us grace and mercy without end.
  9. One day at a time, God provides us with a heart of wisdom, and in this way, our Lord teaches us to number our days.
  10. The unbeliever will search for relief from temptations in worldly prescriptions and pleasures. The believer searches for answers in the promises of the One who can bring true lasting peace in mind, body, and soul.
  11. Even as children of God, we have down days. That’s just a fact of being sinful and living in an evil world.
  12. Only when we stand where God has located Himself for us do we find an imperishable promise.
