Image of God (17)
  1. In episode TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-NINE, Mike, Wade, and Greg (should he just replace Jason longterm?) discuss the image of God.
  2. Just My Imagination. In this episode, we read Eugene Peterson’s book, Under the Unpredictable Plant, and discuss theological imagination at length. What are the consequences when the church takes its cues from a culture with no imagination? Can Christians tell biblical stories without a theological imagination? What happens when the earthly and heavenly are divided by a lack of imagination into merely rationalized explanations?
  3. All of humanity commonly bears the imago Dei, or "image of God." And yet, there's a way in which we have lost that image, and it must be restored to us.
  4. Pastor Sheek Teaches On Matthew 1:18-25
  5. The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God.
  6. God will forever be man. While you think about that, take a listen to our recent episode on the elevation of human beings on Christmas, Mary’s unique role, and ministering to public servants unable to be home for Christmas.
  7. We need to remember that we belong to God by Grace Alone. It’s not by our best works. Not by the sweat of our brow, it’s not even by our best attempts to repent.
  8. Throughout the Gospels there is no quality more closely identified by Jesus with the life of His people than humility which echoes His own.
  9. God Bless the pandemic! Unfortunately, no one is going to learn from it. The preachers tackle issues others are afraid to even speak out loud! This time - Aliens! Do they exist and if so, would you baptize one?
  10. Is man essentially good? Most people think so despite the evidence. Since pot is now essentially legal - is it good? ok? What do you tell Johnny?
  11. Our very lives as parents and children implicitly proclaim this higher and lovely truth: we have no value to God based upon our usefulness.
