Mercy (9)
  1. Jesus weeps because his heart pulses with furious rage and fierce love.
  2. Our hope is God's mercy. It's like a well that never dries up. His mercies were there before he created us. They are present for us today.
  3. For God to shine his face upon us is the same as saying, “Christ Jesus is with us.”
  4. No matter how great our thirst is, God's abundance not only meets it but quenches it. When we are poor and in need, the Lord is always there to give us grace and mercy without end.
  5. One day at a time, God provides us with a heart of wisdom, and in this way, our Lord teaches us to number our days.
  6. We trust God's Word because Jesus never fails us. He is our daily comfort when struggles and afflictions find us.
  7. There is true help in the midst of our pain. Someone who suffered as we suffer, who embraced all our pain in his suffering and death on a cross.
  8. We want to be kind, gentle, and cheerful to others, but we’ve got to protect ourselves from getting hurt.
  9. And so we determine that God is a stern, short-tempered Lord and a gracious, long-suffering Father. And the fact is, He is both.
