Mercy (67)
  1. Sorry, racism, ethnic clashes, cultural differences, are nothing new to the world or the church. Listen to these fools talk about Galatians, racism, and Christianity. Also, a little Smalcald Articles on the Gospel!
  2. As we judge and demand payment from one another, we fashion a world not only skeptical of forgiveness, grace, and mercy... but downright opposed to it.
  3. There is true help in the midst of our pain. Someone who suffered as we suffer, who embraced all our pain in his suffering and death on a cross.
  4. Jonah: The Relentless Mercy of God
  5. “What must I do to inherit eternal life?" Jesus answers that question with a parable. We have our own question: “Who am I in this parable?” But a better question is “Who is Jesus for me in the parable?”
  6. We want to be kind, gentle, and cheerful to others, but we’ve got to protect ourselves from getting hurt.
  7. What is the object of your faith? Have all really sinned and fallen short of God's glory? What is the gift of eternal life? Join Craig and Troy as they talk about all of these topics and more.
  8. My past, littered about this tiny island, resurrects itself when I draw near, but it never does so alone. It is always accompanied by the Savior.
  9. Begin thinking of your church as a homeless shelter. See how it changes the way you see the weary pilgrim sitting in the pew next to you.
  10. Jesus, Who is truly God, became a regular Joe (or Joshua as the case may be) for us.
  11. And so we determine that God is a stern, short-tempered Lord and a gracious, long-suffering Father. And the fact is, He is both.
  12. Abraham didn’t understand God very well (at least not early on). I don’t say that as a dig against the Patriarch. I don’t think any of us understand God very well either.
