Righteousness (8)
  1. Sin is a heavy thing to bear. Its jacket is shame, its medals are guilt.
  2. This is the Christian word: grace. Such grace is found only with this Lamb who is also our Shepherd.
  3. The Lord knew how it felt to be a rejected stone.
  4. I hate to break it to you, but "are" is not an action verb. "Are" is a being verb.
  5. You are not in debt to sin. You don’t owe it anything. There’s no reason for you to serve it.
  6. Both these words, Law and Gospel, are from God. The sinner needs both of them. Both are true and good.
  7. On this day, the church remembers all the saints who have gone before us.
  8. The following is an excerpt from A Path Strewn with Sinners: A Devotional Study of Mark’s Gospel and His Race to the Cross written by Wade Johnston (1517 Publishing, 2017).
