Sorrow and Sadness (18)
  1. Lord, remember us to remind us, that we may know all good things come from you.
  2. We have to “remember” that God remembers us. He has not fallen away. For God to remember us means he is working for our good; a restoration.
  3. Your loving Lord is not oblivious to your pain and sadness.
  4. This story of despair met with the hope of the gospel is rightly told by many during the holiday season.
  5. The way through loneliness will lie in the blessing of solitude and the care of God.
  6. Even as children of God, we have down days. That’s just a fact of being sinful and living in an evil world.
  7. Our sadness is never inconvenient or unimportant to Jesus.
  8. There were pictures of her bathed in the sun of South Padre, sand between her toes, arm-in-arm with beautiful friends
  9. For since it was not enough that the Lord of heaven and earth hung on our every word, the Word came down from heaven and hung upon the cross.
  10. Some days, people need a touch. Not just any touch, but something that says, "I care about you, and I love you."
  11. Recently I’ve met many people that have suffered tragedies in their families. I know this sounds a little selfish, but the ones that stick out the most to me are the ones that affected my own family.
  12. He holds you tight and loves you even as you weep and fight in his arms. His Son suffers alongside you as your brother in the flesh.
